America’s sweetheart Halle Bailey, also known as Ariel in “The Little Mermaid”, has taken the world by storm. Her singing career and acting career have arguably flourished in the past few years, and the world has become her oyster. However, Bailey’s boyfriend Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr, who goes by DDG has allegedly gotten her pregnant. Here’s what her alleged pregnancy confirms.
Men like to trap a woman at their peak
Halle Bailey has allegedly been embarrassed by DDG on several occasions. The Internet claimed that he allegedly sent DM’s to his ex-girlfriend, alongside distasteful tweets allegedly directed at Halle. His career although significant, is certainly less established than Halle’s. Despite this, Halle appears to fiercely stick by her man, loyal to a fault.
This isn’t a new phenomenon. When women blow up in their careers, it almost seems like their spouses get intimidated and try to get them pregnant as soon as possible to ‘trap’ them. We have also seen this with Naomi Osaka and Cordae Spark, Osaka getting pregnant soon after her four grand slam titles. Now, after having the baby, in October she tweets, “I just want someone who will watch the sunset with me.” Insinuating trouble in paradise. A similar situation to Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas, Sophie got pregnant at a career peak and had her first child in 2020. Not at all saying that the mothers or fathers in these situations don’t want their children. We don’t know any of these people personally, but there does seem to be a pattern.
Think it through
I wish all these families the best and I am sure they are wonderful mothers and fathers. It is totally possible that the women in these situations initiated the pregnancy and that is a beautiful thing. However, for someone like Sophie Turner who put her career on the backburner to have a family just to get divorced by Joe later, it makes you think. No matter how in love you are make sure to really understand the magnatide having a child is. The child’s father will likely be around forever so make sure you don’t just have googly eyes on. Children are such a blessing no matter when they come, or who they are by. However, remember there is no rush, and to put you and your body first. Just because you have a man’s baby doesn’t mean he’ll stick around for you and vice versa. Stay safe out there!
